What is a sharing platform?
This platform enables members to pool their resources for the common good of the communities they live and work in
How do I join this platform?
REGISTER here.
List what you can afford to give.
Upload images of your item.
When you need support just search the listings.
Organise the exchange with the other member
Do I have to add a listing to be a member?
Yes. This platform is based on the simple idea that you give what you can to help other members, and take what you need when you need some help
What can I list?
You can list any skills, materials, or equipment you like. If it doesn’t fit into an existing category, select ‘EVERYTHING ELSE’
Why does this sharing platform work?
The more we pool and share our resources the less it will cost to produce projects and events, develop informal networks, share knowledge, and create space and opportunity to bring new ideas to life
Who runs this sharing platform?
Cork Community Art Link runs this platform to help individuals and community organisations across Ireland develop, create, and produce more projects and events in their own area
What do we want from you?
Nothing. We just ask that you adhere to the principles of mutual aid and use this platform to make more stuff happen in your own community
How can I help make this work?
Tell your family and friends and colleagues at home and at work. Pass on the link. Direct people here. Make it happen
Can I advertise my project or event on this platform?
Yes you can. Just send in your SUBMISSION and we’ll post it up
Can I sell items?
No. Everything on this site is a gift. However, if there are ancillary costs such as fuel for a transport service, electricity costs for a space, or a deposit on the loan of equipment, you can discuss that with the interested member
Your promise to other members
This platform helps and supports the development of community projects and events. It is based on trust and reciprocity. For it to work we ask that all members:
1. Adhere to the principles of reciprocity and solidarity
2. Share your resources to meet the needs of other members
3. Always be respectful to other members
4. Never abuse the goodwill of other members
5. Be honest in all your communications with other members
What else do you do?
We’re a community arts organisation based in Cork City and develop collaborative projects and participatory programmes that promote and develop cultural democracy through community arts practice. You can check out what we do on our main WEBSITE
