Cork Midsummer Festival Parade

Out of the Shenanigan Family’s Imaginarium comes a unique celebration of the creativity and passion of local communities. Join our marvellous makers and performers, as we create our usual chaos and mirth in Cork’s city centre for some Midsummer madness.

Cork Community Art Link presents a rambunctious parade on the opening day of the Midsummer Festival with community groups and organisations including Corlann Blackpool, Cork Simon, National Learning Network and many more, bringing energy, passion and creativity to the streets of the city. Three months of collaboration and more than 70 workshops dedicated to creative exploration, will culminate in a joyous explosion of colour, music and performance, ingeniously engineered floats, stunning costumes and other wonderous contraptions.
